Questions photographers ask us
Do my guests need to install an app?
No. Guests scan the event QR code and the gallery opens in their phone's browser.
How does selfie search work?
A guest takes a selfie or uploads a photo of themselves. Snap Show matches it against the event's photos and shows only the ones they appear in, ready to download.
Can photos upload straight from my camera?
Yes. On Studio and Pro you can turn on auto upload with FTP for an event, and photos are sent from your camera to the live gallery as you shoot. Manual upload from your browser works on every plan.
Can I keep an album private?
Yes. You can make an album private and protect it with a password, so only the people you share it with can open it.
What happens after my free trial?
Choose Starter, Studio or Pro and pay monthly or yearly. Yearly plans cost the same as 10 months. You can upgrade or downgrade later, and buy extra events or albums only when you need them.
How long do albums stay online?
Each Digital Album and Scan-to-Play album is hosted for 1 year from publishing (2 years on Pro). After that you or your client can keep it online for another year or forever with a one-time payment. The QR code never stops working - if an album is archived, it shows the option to restore it.
Can my team use Snap Show too?
On the Pro plan you can add studio staff and equipment and assign them to events, so everyone knows who is shooting and with which gear.
